As a Cloud Platform Developer, you will contribute to IBM’s next-generation cloud platform by building cloud-native applications optimized for performance, scalability, and security. The role requires strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering, along with hands-on experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud architecture. You will work with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks to enable rapid and reliable delivery. Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, databases like Postgres, and caching tools like Redis will be valuable. Frontend knowledge of React, JavaScript, and Node is an added advantage.
