You will work closely with application, development, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient database solutions that meet business needs.

As a SQL Developer at Sutherland, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining SQL Server instances while ensuring high availability and optimal performance. You will monitor database health, analyze query plans, and fine-tune queries and indexing strategies to improve efficiency. The role includes implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies, managing user access and security policies, and resolving database issues in coordination with application teams. You will also plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring systems remain secure and up to date. Additionally, you will handle data migration and integration using tools such as SSIS, BCP, and BULK INSERT, while maintaining detailed technical documentation.
