Oracle Corporation is hiring a Software Developer (IC3) in the Product Development division for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Identity and Access Management (IAM) – Access Governance team. This role focuses on designing and operating large-scale, multi-tenant cloud services that manage secure access to enterprise resources. The position requires 3–5+ years of experience and strong expertise in the Java Programming Language. The selected candidate will work as an Individual Contributor to build scalable, resilient, and high-performing distributed systems that support millions of requests per second in a cloud-native environment.

As part of OCI’s Access Governance team, the Software Developer will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, and cloud services. The role involves building highly available and redundant distributed services using the Java Programming Language and frameworks like Spring Boot. Engineers will work on RESTful web services, service-oriented architectures, and cloud-native applications deployed on public cloud platforms. The candidate will contribute to feature design, performance optimization, and system reliability while ensuring security best practices through threat modeling and risk identification techniques.
