Job Description

Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer, HYD-Infinity – DCEO (Job ID: 10499523) in Hyderabad, Telangana. The role is responsible for the operation and maintenance of critical data-center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical and fire/life-safety systems. Candidates with an operational background and a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering are eligible, while 2+ years of data-center engineering experience is preferred. The position involves maintenance, incident management, vendor coordination, compliance, emergency response and 24×7 rotational operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own data-center changes, events, incidents and problems from initiation through resolution.
  • Plan and oversee maintenance and repairs of critical facility infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), emergency response procedures and preventive-maintenance programs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of data-center systems, operational alternatives and contingency plans.
