Amgen is hiring for the position of Sr. Associate – Machine Learning Engineer in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This is an On-Site Machine Learning Engineering opportunity focused on building and operationalizing Generative AI and Agentic AI systems for production use.

The role involves designing LLM solutions, developing agent frameworks, building evaluation pipelines, implementing AI safety guardrails, developing RAG and multi-step agent workflows, and applying MLOps practices to move AI systems from prototypes into reliable enterprise services.

Candidates should have 5–9 years of applied machine learning or software engineering experience, including at least 2 years of experience working with production ML systems. A B.Tech, M.Tech or MS with specialization in Computer Science is required.
