Key Responsibilities:
- Design and enforce cease-to-give up Media Over IP answers for broadcasters, manufacturing homes, and business enterprise clients.
- Serve because the technical lead for consumer engagements, participating with sales, engineering, and product groups.
- Translate consumer necessities into scalable architecture the use of enterprise requirements which include SMPTE ST 2110, NMOS, and AES67.
- Conduct technical displays, demonstrations, and Proof of Concept (PoC) for clients and partners.
- Evaluate and combine Sony merchandise with third-party technologies to deliver complete solutions.
- Provide guidance on device interoperability, IP community design, timing/synchronization (PTP), and redundancy.
- Stay up to date with industry developments in IP media manufacturing, inclusive of cloud, virtualization, and far flung workflows.
- Support pre-income sports and make a contribution to RFP responses, technical documentation, and task planning.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or associated field.
- 7–10 years of enjoy in broadcast engineering, AV structures layout, or IT/network architecture, with at the least 3 years focused on Media over IP.
- Strong understanding of SMPTE ST 2110, NMOS, AES67, PTP, and associated IP video/audio shipping standards.
- Proficiency with IP networking technologies, inclusive of multicast, VLANs, QoS, and community security.
- Experience with broadcast manage systems, routing, and sign processing.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications inclusive of Cisco CCNA/CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent are a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud media workflows (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong trouble-solving and communique capabilities with the ability to manipulate complex initiatives.
